How to make your bones thicker?

Can you make your bones wider and bigger?
exexec · 61-69, C
Weight-bearing exercise might help some. Astronauts lose bone mass when in orbit because of zero G. That's why a centrifuge or some type of mechanism will be required on long duration missions, like one to Mars. Do something that requires physical effort and eat the right foods.

@exexec I second this. Weight bearing exercise helps helps with bone density, but no real way to make them bigger. That's pretty much determined by genetics and health during early childhood.

Strenuous loading ( weight lifting ) and large amounts of supplements during the mid to late teens
@TexChik this will not make bones grow. Only muscles.

No..you can't naturally modify your bone structure as far as i know

@celine211 What if you break your arm? Does it get wider or only stronger?
celine211 · 22-25, F
@Science78 It just grows back if you are young and healthy..bones are not like muscles strength doesn't mean size it depends on your diet and genes

Stretch it by putting inside a wet vac.
There is no way to enlarge bones.
