Would you settle with someone who doesn’t make you completely happy?

You’re not going to be happy all of the time but I wouldnt be with someone who never made me completely happy some of the time.

At my age and health condition...I'm looking for companionship & loyalty. I'm not "in love', but I love her. She's good to me, just the romance isn't there. I don't really care about physical intimacy anymore either. If it happens kewl. If not kewl. So, yes, I guess I am, but its okay, besides, it's not someone else's responsibility to make me completely happy. It's my own.

I did that a few years back. Worst mistake of my life. She turned out to be mentally abusive and manipulative. Had to kick her out when she made me so miserable that I started having murderous dreams of her.
