Do pick up lines actually work?

And do people still use it?

I think if the dude is handsome enough, has a winning smile and all it could work. In my youth my pickup lines were the absolute truth. In the bar I used to look a young lady in the eye an say, "Excuse me but would you like to have sexual intercourse this evening"? Amazing how many times this worked. I suppose lines will always be around in one form or another.

@iMystery Yes absolutely. Of course I said it nicely with a smile but some of the ladies thought it was refreshing and maybe thought I was interesting enough to get to know. Did not work all the time but enough times.
