It would appear that yourself Ynotisay, may be arguing semantics over the meaning of the word impeachment?
From what you say, I gather the senate has to vote on the charges, and he had to be found guilty, as you say he was ( and I don't doubt you) for him to be impeached?
Where as up to that point of the senate finding him guilty, it's still only an impeachment process ... Is that right?

What it amounts to is this:

The jury found the defendant guilty....The judge let the defendant walk.
When Nixon was impeached, he resigned in shame.

When Clinton was impeached he just laughed and continued on his way. Liberals have no shame.
