Raising a teenager is far more challenging than I expected. Just when I feel like losing my mind with her, I realize that her attitude looks familiar. She is all ME from back in the day.
My oldest daughter butted heads with her mother from age 2 1/2 on, but are very close now. While I had to choose my timing wisely, I would remind her that she was arguing with herself :)
In some cases you can blame your mother for that. Because at some point in time she has said those famous words. "I hope you have a daughter just like you" ;)
As difficult as it is ... or as it becomes ... when you smother with love, understanding, patients, and despline she will turn out great and make you proud ... ...
There are times when she says things that will literally make me go mad, but after I take a minute to breath I find myself thinking "even you would have said the same had it been you"🤔 Her sarcasm is hereditary.
this is what happens, I'm noticing how I'm becoming more and more like my dad. I'm still a different person in a lot of ways, but my attitude is just spot on
