I Have a Teenage Daughter
Ok moms: my daughter just got her first period (lucky me) and she wants use tampons and I said no. What age did you let her start using tampons. I use tampons, but my mom made me wait till I was 15. Should I give in?

@MoMartins My Mom said 15 too, so of course that's what I told my girls, but they both started later than 13 so they didn't have too long to wait. I like the idea of your daughter being in charge of her own body, but I get why 13 makes you nervous. Since you already said it, I would have her try pads first, then maybe be open to negotiating tampons earlier than 15 if she is uncomfortable.
