People keep saying to me “I wish I could go barefoot like you! But I’m too shy” well my advice is stop being so silly and take off your shoes and socks and go barefoot.
Once you take the plunge you won’t regret it and you’ll think why didn’t I do this years ago 🙂

@tropicaltiger That's me, too. Some of us were visiting a botanical garden recently, and my friends weren't surprised when I took off my shoes. I wanted to feel that lush grass with my bare feet.
Once you have decided to go barefoot and are not longer shy you don't want to wear shoes at any time and hate it, if you have to, as it is either too cold or you are forced by circumstances.
@UnshodAdvocate yes, they can be. but some shoes (many, now) breathe, are not fully enclosed, etc.
But you fail to acknowledge your misuse of info.
If you have valid points which are clear/cogent and not based upon an obvious misreading/misuse of the supposed "support", PLEASE use them... Just throwing out things to see if you can get them by people, making unsubstantiated claims...these do NOT help your stated cause.
If there are 50 ACTUAL health benefits, list them with the support. I welcome good info. But I also look at what is claimed and the slideshow is misleading at best.
