I started in January

I’m running two journals. One is a running daily record on Day One (iOS app) - the other cooler one, is a 5 year journal. I’ve made entires every day this year. Has room for about 8 lines. Enough to really hit the highlights that day. I’m looking forward to Year 2 and how far I’ve grown (or regressed). I’ve been disciplined in keeping it and it has felt good to get things down.

I would be useless without my book. Almost every day since 5th grade.
I should go check out the apps! I love a pen and paper though.
Once I write it down, I feel the universe has heard me, it is marked, and I can move forward.
I hope journaling brings you continued success.

@EmilyEdith “the universe has heard me” is a great perspective. Very cool. Thanks for sharing. I like both pen and paper and the electronic tools. I travel a lot and sometimes limiting stuff is helpful. (Dropping a notebook sometimes saves critical space)

I have kept a journal for a couple of years now too.
It's become a healthy, daily habit, to help me process life.
I like it.
Does keeping a journal help with anger issues? I have friends that swear by it, but we’re all different.

@DecafD I can’t speak to anger issues. Don’t have them. But it does slow the world down a bit. Let’s me explore my thoughts and ideas. However, I think meditation would be very helpful with anger issues.
@Drigsdeux thanks for the tip!

that’s a cool achievement. what is the app called?
Drigsdeux · 51-55, M
@Fallflower Day One. It’s slick. wish it would have a web app. But for now it seems to only work on Apple products.

@Drigsdeux oh ok. i thought there was another (cooler) app lol. I’m gonna check it out.
