A month later, Again, you ask them to be somewhere you were planning for long and suppose let's say

2 hours before the event, he/she again switches off his/her phone for a week.

How would you react (being emotionally mature)

I've made it clear, I will be leaving at xx, if you are not here I will not wait. When we do group activities and some one is no call no show, they generally get black listed for future events.

Bin ‘em !

It’s one thing to be unreliable it’s another to be deliberately obstructive.

No excuses for turning your phone off these days unless you specifically can’t handle something/one.

depends on the context of the relatnsp and the importance of the event.
TheOrionbeltseeker · 36-40, M
@DoubleRings total friendship. Let's say same sex. And event is important but it may occur again some other month.
DoubleRings · 51-55, F
@TheOrionbeltseeker sounds pretty irresponsible - id stop counting on them and maybe pick someone else next time
not too bothered as i no longer invest as much with people. but would never try again with them.
I'd talk to them to try and establish why this happened.

Maybe there's a reason for it???

Really depends on who it was who did it. I would be more willing to put up with that shit if it was a really close friend. The kind of person who has given me reasons to give them more chances.
