What is one of the most spontaneous things you've ever done?
Back in August of 2006, I was forced to replace my 1993 Ford Escort 2-3 weeks earlier than I had originally planned, due to the engine going bad.

I was already helping support 2 families and my Mom dumps a Van payment on me.
She bought a new Chevy Lumina over my brother and I fighting .
He sold me a van and the engine was shot ,(I traded him a drum set worth several thousand dollars for a van worth at tops $800,00 )
He also sold me a truck so I could get the engine out of it and put in the van
but then says he only sold me an engine not the whole truck .
One of the issues was he had a leak in the radiator and instead of fixing it he kept adding pepper to the system and that works for a temporary fix but he did it until it clogged the radiator.
There was another one in the truck he sold me ,but he wouldn't let me have the truck ,,just the engine ,so I still had the same problem the radiator was the cause of the other engine overheating that messed it up .
So Mom goes and buys a new van ,drives it a few weeks then calls me home .
I bought this for you ,,but the payment are $311.00 a month and you have to carry full coverage ,,I tell her to take it back
I can buy a radiator for $311.00 .and then its a one time thing and problem solved ,,it was just the idea that my brother would do me that way ,not the van .
But already having things tight ,living across the state ,living in my motor home that I could have driven if I needed to ,driving back and 2 across the state every weekend to be with my kids ,now this too
Paying Dads doctor bills and his meds ,she knew she could not afford that van and with me being disabled not knowing from day to day if I would be able to walk the next day ,that was a huge debt at the time to take on too .
But I paid it off ,the Lord was good and kept me in work and able to walk.
But it caused another fight between my brother and I ,,,
I forgave him for moving into my home with my ex,,
This one was almost the last stray ,,but as always ,,I forgave him .
But all this started over my escort blowing a head gasket
and I traded my full drum set to my brother for a piece of crap van because I needed a "Work Truck "
I turned a brand new Lumina into a work truck ,but at least I rode in style
for the day .they were the neatest vans on the road
