Do you think not having matching passwords would work well?

DunningKruger · 61-69, M
I've been considering getting a password manager, because I have dozens of accounts all over the place. As it is, I have an algorithm in my head for generating passwords I can remember but produces strong passwords.
@DunningKruger keepass is a pretty good one

I use a password manager and every password I have is 20-characters and different from every other password.

Sometimes its a pain, but just as much as a pain I had before that when one password was hacked from a site and I had to change every single one.
@Pherick That’s what I’m doing—and why.

I try not to have matching passwords where I can. Maybe a few variations. But so hard to keep them all straight

I feel you there lol@BearDownChicago

No. That shit gets confusing. Clicking on “forgot password?” is humiliating. Lol.

I got one for everything. I'm not interesting enough for anyone to want to see my stuff.
I don't understand this question.
Yeah. Does it mean a unique password for every account?
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP I'm not sure; it seems she preferred to delete rather than expound.
