Have you ever had to "live" in a hotel?

What was the reason? My family is moving out of our townhouse on Monday and we are all going our "separate ways". I haven't found an apartment of my own yet and need a place to stay until then.

@Dusty101 Well that's great that your insurance paid for it.

Yeah when I moved to a new city to work, I was unable to find a place to stay.

So I had to stay in a hotel for a week. It was at the end of that week that I was given a room to stay in an apartment owned by our office with my colleague.

I worked as a musician for a couple of years and traveled constantly. Every night was in a different hotel I I guess I lived in them but never got settled into one.
a couple extended stays for relocation. or a month of working on the road in chicago.

Yes, a couple of times when I started new jobs abroad. It was good 👍🏻

Three months in Singapore.
In my company I once worked in a department that held training seminars and before I was promoted to my local office, I occasionally was sent to other cities as an instructor. I once had to stay at a hotel in Oxnard, for about three weeks. It would’ve been about a 6 hr drive each way from my home, so commuting was not really on option.
