Would you get a tattoo If a loved one disapproves?

No one makes decisions for me. Yes.

@LadyGrace Leviticus 19:28, which says,”You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the Lord.”

With the amount of bible stuff you post the decision has been made for you
The question was, would I get one if a loved one disapproved and I said yes. The Bible also says that the old laws have been done away with. God does not look at our appearance or what we wear. He looks at our heart and is more concerned with what is IN them. @St0ut

I did it without my parents knowing, but they actually said it's nice, and I promised my Dad before he passed, no more.
No - tattoos are for burly men not for women!

I didn't really think about it. I just did it.

I wish I hadn't gotten one when she did approve
My second wife was not impressed with my first wifes name on my arm
I had to have it altered ,then it was funny how 1 line changed it ,I wish I had not done it at all .

Yep. If it meant that much
If I wanted it, yes I'd still get it. Their disapproval is their problem, not mine. I am a blank canvas, haven't felt strong enough about one to get one.
It’s my body. My husband was ok w it. My parents would not encourage it, but was ok after it was already done.

It wouldn’t occur to me to ask first. LOL
