What’s the wierdist or most shocking thing you’ve every witnessed?

Seeing my buddies along with the enemy destroyed by automatic weapons and mortar fire in Vietnam.The memories and flashbacks are still vivid in my mind even though it was 50 years ago;You asked,so i told you.God bless and take care.

My dad opened a coffee can, after I got home from school one day, a decade ago, and a snake jumped out of it and bit his hand. He'd kept the snake in there for a little too long, in anticipation of me coming home to witness nature...

I almost got sandwiched by two semi-trucks on my first long-distance road trip, by myself. I was travelling in the fast-lane, about to pass a semi, when it cut me off!! I was incredulous! It was just me and this semi, on this stretch of highway! Why would he cut right in front of me?? So I zoomed into the right lane, on a twisty turn, to pass this truck... Well, as soon as I merged into the right lane, --- FUCK! Another semi-truck was quickly joining us on the highway, merging left from the highway entrance ramp... I had just seconds to veer a hard left, almost clipping the rear-end of the original semi, and I held strong through the corner on the left emergency pull-out lane, then recovered and kept going... It was miraculous. I could've been either smashed by the two trucks, or smashed between the truck and the concrete highway divider wall...

On another road adventure, to the local park, I wondered why the car in front was going so slow!! They braked hard, pulling off to the side of the road. It didn't take long for me to realize what they'd stopped for. I saw it as I came upon the black tire marks on the road, ahead: to our left, a small truck lied, overturned, smashed, and... There was an old man sticking out of the driver's side window! He hadn't been wearing a seatbelt, and I guess he took the corner too fast, hit the soft shoulder on the side, lost control, and ended up, upside-down, in this giant field of country farmland... Just off this country road... The old guy was pinned by his own vehicle, which was both crushing him, and probably holding his organs in his torso. The truck was completely on top of his chest; his face was purple and bloated; he was making sounds I have never heard from a human... Between a wheeze and a groan... I left when the medics arrived, but they were moving slow, and I'm pretty sure that old man is no longer alive, although I've no way of knowing for sure... I checked the obituaries, called the fire department, no way of knowing...

Also, some of the most "ordinary" things can be the most shocking. I'm amazed at the normality of plastic surgery and body mutilation for the sake of social pressures and vanity.

Seeing a neighbor arguing with his son in law, he grabs a hammer from his truck, son inlaw shot him in the head. I was just a boy playing in the dirt with my cousin at grandma's house. The man died.

Me and my brothers used to walk the train tracks when we were kids scavenging. One day as we were doing that we found this hangout under a bunch of trees in the golly, and there were beer cans, pages of adult magazines, cigarett butts, scattered everywhere with some of the beer cans having dog bite marks in them and there was something that looked like somebody sleeping next to a man made fire pit under a sleeping bag. When my brother checked under the sleeping bag he found a rotting decapitated dead dog it looked like a german shepard and obviously this freaked us out a bit, so we left. And we must have walked like a hundred feet farther when we found the head. I was around seven when this happened. It was '94 or '93 and there was a lot of satanism going on back then. I think we stumbled on some sort of weird satanic ritual. We were all Lds so this all seemed really surreal to me.

Many years ago a saw a VW Bug slam into a powerpole and burst into flames. I had to watch a teenager stuck in the car burn to death while. He was screaming for help. Nothing we could do. The car kept exploding. I will never forget that.

i saw a woman hit and killed by a van on a highway. her mate kept passing out from shock.

Idk, probably the shock was so strong that my mind repressed it.

The most shocking things I have seen:

A woman dying on the pavement after a motorcycle accident.

A woman who was severely burned being put onto a plane to be flown to a burn center. She did not survive.

a million candles burning for the help that never came .
