What dumb-looking things have you seen people do with a smartphone?

I was just out getting lunch, and I saw someone walking around with their phone directly in front of their own face, practically inside their mouth, trying to use the speech-to-text feature. It just looked so incredibly goofy that I had to wonder why they couldn't just type it? It was a noisy area, and they weren't carrying anything, so why use that feature here and now?

So, what are some other stupid-looking things you've seen people do with smartphones?

1. Texting while driving, pisses me off. 2. This was funny: saw a girl clearly sending a snapchat as I was walking by a car and she made the weirdest face. I was behind the phone and then she figured out I had seen her. At first she that "crap, he saw that" look, and then I started laughing and waved to her and so did she.

Last week, a car in front of me was taking a left turn, his indicator on (as was mine) as he braked quickly because of the lady crossing the road he and I were turning up. She had her phone in her hand and ear-buds in; she was completely oblivious. So much so, that the driver got out of his car, closed the door and screamed at her before she even knew he was there. What happened next? ....

She pulled back in shock, pulling out the buds as the guy told her she was oblivious to his car which could have hit her. To which she side-stepped him and told him to '*Fcuk off'. It seems that phone using pedestrians have right of way on the highway; or, this lady thinks she should have.

@Justbychance Pedestrians need to learn that the laws of right of way do not take precedence over the laws of physics. Big, metal car with mass will always beat a squishy human.
