Do you get scared of telling someone a mistake you made?

Out of fear of their reaction, and when you do, your fears of their reaction are realized? And to others what you did or the mistake is one that can be easily fixed, but you still feel like crap, because of one person’s reaction?
It used to bother me because regardless if I said the truth or keep it to myself it still ended being bad on my part. I already knew their reaction. Thank God that nightmare is over.

Better to face up to it right away. It only gets worse if you lie or try and get out of it.

@TheProphet very true. I was honest, straight forward.

When I was growing up the punishment was always worse if I lied. The lie was punished worse than the original mistake.
