I Was Just Wondering

Will the criminal Hillary Clinton finally be punished for one of her crimes? Will she go to prison for her treasonous release of classified emails?
carpediem · 61-69, M
Dave, to comment on your original post.... I believe the justice department will protect HRC from prosecution because our current prez will demand it. Is it wrong? Hell yes. But did you really expect something different from these people?
carpediem · 61-69, M
@dave Aww, rats, I missed that. It makes me smile when people get all worked up over their left leanings. Personal insults become their only defense. Well thanks for sticking up for me Dave.

Hey, maybe she's right. My wife is a mother, and I do... well, you know...fo. Disagree on the inbred thing though. But I do like it that she could say something so nasty and personal without even a clue of who I am, what I do, or what makes me tick. But... since I have a different view of the world than she does, I MUST be an inbred mofo...LOL. Ahhh... liberal minds. Really predictable, but I do my best to enjoy them anyway.
carpediem · 61-69, M
@Madlittlegirl You need to do a little research. I do call what has done accomplishment. Surely not as accomplished as you.... but hey, who is? And Reagan was an economic rock star. I was there. You're communist brethren told you about his "evils".

I can assure you, Trump won't cause others to laugh at us. They will respect us which does not happen now. And our enemies will likely fear us and that is a good thing.

Now, go take your meds and relax. You're getting yourself all worked up. Watch some Rachael Maddow re-runs and smoke a bowl. That should help.
carpediem · 61-69, M
@Lady, people didn't forget. They never even knew. Yes, Clinton signed the deal, but Republicans supported it too. George SR. was a big supporter.

I remember the term "that big sucking sound". Anyone else (oldsters like me) recall that? That was Ross Perot's claim. He was 100% correct like the van dweller who is commenting here has testified to. The jobs went away.

Only he blames Eisenhower/Nixon/Reagan/Bush/Rubio/Trump/MyGrandma and the guy in the Oscar Meyer hot dog suit. But not anyone remotely liberal.

@fddl
holymolyIamamazedathowyourwordsruntogetherandmakeitdifficulttounderstandwhatyouaresaying. Phew.

So you like your van? Be sure to open the windows now and then. Get a little fresh air. I'm no "richfolk", but I do live in an actual house. See, I work and earn a living. Oh, and history has already shown Reagan to be one of the country's greatest presidents. Sorry about tossing in a few facts there.
carpediem · 61-69, M
Madone... yes, in fact I have read up. And I know something about him. You realize he owns an amazing portfolio of world class properties throughout the globe right? Is that what makes him "incompetent"? Or that he's a billionaire. Maybe that's it.

His economic proposals are the best I'd seen since Reagan. But I'm only 60, so maybe I don't have your experienced eye. We have the highest corporate tax rate in the world. Lower it. American companies park trillions of dollars overseas to avoid US taxes. We can bring that capital into the US to create an economic stimulus like never before. Are those the things you think are madness?

I've been blocked by her too and I don't even share political views with the two of you. Common ground has been found. *We Are the World starts playing*

Like he will get the Mexicans to pay for a wall that won't work that you don't need all you have to do to stop the illegal border crossing is enforce the law and throw anyone that employs them in prison he won't do that and he won't tell the rich what to do either I wish he would but in this country the rich feel no pain we just cut taxes for them he won't be elected anyway so all is moot you are going to get hillary face it and I don't want her either she will also sell us down the road in a bad trade agreement so I don't see things getting better the democratic party is what the 60s republican party was and the Republican party is so far to the right it has gone nuts and there is no one for the working class so my guess is the Republican old school doesn't mind hillary at all she is a Republican and she will do what they really want and trump is a lesson for the tea party to show them that they need to fall in line and play the game we are screwed

No Trump has a plan to do what someone should have done long ago. Our trade with other countries is ridiculous. We pay big tariffs, but the other countries don't. This has been eating away at our country for a long time, that's how other countries manage to own so much of the U.S. Trump plans to contact companies that send work out of the country and tell them that it's going to cost them to bring it in the states.
The U.S. has had a huge disadvantage for a long time, Trump is going to make it better for the companies to keep the world here than send it out to another country. Creating a huge number of jobs.
What you said is really outlandish, it's really remarkable that you can believe that crap!
Madgirl · 26-30, F
his money comes from his family and investing in high risk housing market that actually ruined several people and did nothign good for the overall of the economy.

basically he could have taken his inheitance to a gambling bank, would you call that an accomplishment ?

reagan was toxic for the economy in the usa and only under clinton (the male) it recovered.

beside that a president trump will be the laughing stock of foreign politics and isolate the americans even more from the other western countries.

not even gonna mention the effects on internal peace in the usa.. there will be riots and a further radicalisation of politics.

that said... he is still the better choice then clinton who is a clear criminal.

She must have blocked me too because her postings are no longer visible to me. Looks like I'll be losing hours of sleep tonight over it. Pardon me while I sit in the corner and weep. 😭
carpediem · 61-69, M
I now have 50% fewer employees than 8 years ago. A couple of those I let go have found other employment. They are spending more on their heath costs due to higher deductibles. I always covered benefits.

They no longer get profit sharing, and I removed the 50% employer match to their 401K. Only 1 person has had a raise. They are thankful to have their jobs. They have all had increased costs in real estate tax, etc. But we live in a state that has been crushed by democrats and public sector unions. The economy has not rebounded like Florida, Texas, Indiana, Ohio, and others.
1961dave · 61-69, M
I don't know about the rest of you , but with all the really crazy stuff fddlpej is saying. I'm not going to bother to aknowledge him anymore. He doesn't run out of nonsense to say.
fddlpej · 61-69, M
So we don't punish any criminals as long as what they have done is in the past no matter how serious they were and I do not support Clinton I don't like her and won't vote for her I have no problem with putting her or her husband in jail but let's get them all and so far no one has gone and we have the proof on bush he killed many and walks around free as a bird and nothing is ever going to happen to him if it did maybe something would happen to Clinton so go after the one who has never been looked into although the proof is waiting for us
carpediem · 61-69, M
@fddl W took the jobs? He's hiding them in his pocket? You know he's right down there in Texas, maybe he's finished with them now. He might want to give them back.

Could it be that currency manipulation from the crap trade deals we have has encouraged manufacturers to produce elsewhere? Or the world's highest corporate tax is causing manufacturing to relocate? Or these idiotic "free" trade deals are working against us?

Nawwww..... George, give the guy back his factory... And his punctuation. W must have taken that too..!
1961dave · 61-69, M
Saffie Trump has great plans that would really fix the country. I think he really wants to go down in history as a great president. I believe he can pull it off!
SW-User
You know what I wonder, and I do for here as well, in a country with so many millions of people is this the best we've got?!
1961dave · 61-69, M
fddlpej What the Hell does Bush have to do with this? Hillary is running for president. I don't really give a Shit what you or I think of past presidents right now. There's a serious problem facing the country right now. There's a criminal that just released a lot of classified documents, for some reason, probably payment. This criminal is running for president. This criminal has made promises that would hurt the economy and government. This criminal would destroy the country.
1961dave · 61-69, M
Unfortunately carpediem I think his problem can't be cured by fiber. Nothing less than a brain transplant will do!
fddlpej · 61-69, M
No Trump has a plan for a tax cut for the wealthy and said Americans make to much money in the labor force so he wants low paying jobs that will be able to get government welfare and continue to be tax users instead of tax payers the biggest private employer in the early 70s was GM those people bought houses cars went on vacation and paid taxes today the biggest employer is Walmart and most of those folks thru know fault of their own do not buy houses new cars or go on vacation they do however get food stamps and other government assistance they are tax users so how are low wage jobs going to cut taxes and really stimulate the economy?if that is Trumps plan it is more of the same that has gotten us to ware we are now and will only get worse I really don't think hillary will do much better but at least she says she wants to increase minimum wage and that must mean that she doesn't think we make to much money do you think we make to much I know I can't live off of 8 bucks an hour and support my family and I don't think you can either
1961dave · 61-69, M
So you just bash everyone and feel we're all doomed no matter what, I feel sorry for you fddlpej !

Never apologise for voicing or defending your opinion, every human should have that right!
1961dave · 61-69, M
Yeah, a lot of the people on here with the strongest opinions are not from the states.
carpediem · 61-69, M
Funny how so many non-Americans have these strong opinions about our elections.
carpediem · 61-69, M
Thanks fddl. I'll let you know what George W says on the factories/jobs and your punctuation. Oh, and we agree. Hard times are ahead. The past 8 years has been a mess.

Hey, I will say though that nice riverside location you staked out for your van is probably the safest spot to avoid the up and coming terror attacks from all the ISIS people who disguised themselves as refuges. So good for you....!
carpediem · 61-69, M
@saffie Sorry for voicing my opinion. I take it all back. Koolaide anyone?
SW-User
Jesus Dave next time I say I'm going to unfollow one of your threads I really will!
carpediem · 61-69, M
@lady... It was probably the Russians that intercepted it.
1961dave · 61-69, M
Yeah, we're Assholes for disputing lies they make up!
carpediem · 61-69, M
@fddl Hey, I saw you used a period. Fantastic. As for the past 8, I can only tell you my personal experiences. I am now making 50% of what I made back then. My real estate taxes have doubled and my health care costs have tripled. I run a business so I am acutely aware of things like taxes and costs like employee benefits. And of course, the deductibles have grown by 500%.

The past 8 is the first time in history where we have not had a single year with 3% grown. Almost forgot to mention the job participation percentage is on par with the late 70's. Ninety five million people of working age out of the workforce? Is that better?

Better? No. Hell, you're living in a van! And we agree again. The TPP agreement is a worst mess than NAFTA, which as we already established has caused W to snatch up factories, stick them in pocket, and run away to Texas.
1961dave · 61-69, M
Smart and Liberal don't happen together.
carpediem · 61-69, M
@saffie What people? The current administration. They choose what laws to follow, how they are going to follow other laws based purely on ideology. Has nothing to do with the actual rule of law. There are so many examples to name, it's silly to even begin to list them.
fddlpej · 61-69, M
History will show Regan as one of the worst presidents in our history do you remember when we used to get a Christmas bonus I do my father got a months pay but Reagans new tax law took care of that then he busted the unions and the middle class has not kept up since then then he sold arms to Iran and nothing happened to him bill got a bj and they tried to impeach him what is wrong with that? Then he started to raise taxes on the middle class to cover the tax break he gave the rich and took away from the middle class I think that was fair don't you so if trump is like Reagan by the time he is done we will be living in a van down by the polluted river and looking at the fine homes the rich folk live in the one thing that I will enjoy is you will be in a van next to me you will deserve it but I won't
fddlpej · 61-69, M
No I don't see anything getting better until we get a true smart liberal in with both houses to work with him we have not had a liberal since Johnson and he was a crook but things were still getting a little better with him it has been down hill ever since we have had nothing but conservatives ever since and only conservative for the middle class on down the rich are not conservative they buy what they want and we have to tighten the belt up again they have bought both sides and they will take hillary in a minute she will do nothing to the banksters she will allow fracking she will do what they want her to do just like trump would but she is smarter and easy to control so we are screwed it should have been berne but people don't see the truck about to run over them
1961dave · 61-69, M
What fddlpej, alternative to Hillary? The government has no money, they have to vote to not shut down. Hillary's plans would make it much worse. Trump's plans would create lots of jobs, and the government would get funds from the taxes.
1961dave · 61-69, M
Saffie who said carpediem sounds like an inbred mofo blocked me. It pissed her off that I stuck up for carpediem, and said I would ignore the guy that was making stuff up. For that she said I was arrogant, and she said I bullied Soosie!

Ramon67 · 61-69, M
Trump won the nomination because Americans were tired of the status quo . I Hillary wins , we will have 4 more years of the same current Adminstration . We don't need that .
carpediem · 61-69, M
You are right Saffie. No reason to be a jerk. The guy lives in a van after all. And has no punctuation to call his own. I'll leave an apologetic note on his windshield.
carpediem · 61-69, M
saffie LOL. Thanks for that acknowledgement. I was actually joking around as evidenced by the Koolaide reference. I know... hard to tell the difference right?
Madgirl · 26-30, F
i sure hope so... a hero like edward snowden has to take refugee at a villain like putin and someome like hillary is runnign for president.. wtf.
fddlpej · 61-69, M
No but bush didn't either and he killed many more people than she did so far with a war that should never have been that will teach them for living on top of our oil
fddlpej · 61-69, M
Ask those who live in Kansas how they like it when the kids only go to school 4 days a week because the governor gave tax breaks to the rich
SW-User
Trump will shit gold all over the rich and that is who he cares about!
I'm now unfollowing this tread!
SW-User
He won't, when was the last time the incredibly rich did something good for you or anyone else?
