What explanation is given for this unusual phenomenon? Antarctica, also I believe, nis not owned by any 1 country. I think that alot of countries at one time or another claimed different parts of that continent. Many countries have scientific bases located on the continent...kind of territories that lend to several countries scientific endeavors.

That's fascinating. I knew about the disputed border but I didn't know there was a spot that neither country claimed.
BlackBlossom · F
@SW-User yeah if they claim this they would loose the claim on the better land
Mugin16 · 46-50, M
Did they fight a war over it with the loser being forced to take the territory? ;-)
BlackBlossom · F
@Mugin16 noone enforces any laws in that area... the biggest problem is leaving that area cause neither country allows people back to their proper land from it
Northwest · M
Sorry but Suyash Dixit, from Indore, India already claimed it. It's on Facebook, so it's real.
I'll have it... I want a desert island to live on.

If no one lives there I'll claim it as my own.
TheRascallyOne · 31-35, M
@basilfawlty89 Every colony that has ever claimed that land has always been brutally murdered by opposing factions
