I think that communism as envisioned by Marx has never been practiced. If I recall correctly, he described it as a classless, stateless society that would come about after late-stage capitalism led to a dictatorial socialism and then finally to communism. I can't think of any country that that applies to.
So I won't trash the Soviet Union or China or North Korea because I don't believe they're good examples of communism. But, all that being said, I don't believe communism is something that we should strive toward.

@SW-User Remember, human beings are basically greedy and greediness grow over the years.
I admit the same greediness has given the extra edge for humans over other creatures in this world.

It's a good idea in theory. But in practice, it's completely different. It has failed every time it's been implemented. That seems to be enough proof that communism kinda sucks.

@SW-User Do you think it is a complete failure, there are many societies that has benefited from its concept and implementation.

@Krishh Uh, not really. There are more countries that have been fucked because of its existence. It sounds nice on paper. Everyone getting the same thing. Equality. Only it's impossible to maintain.
