Is It Weird For Someone Not To Have Any Pictures Of Their Family Displayed Around Their Home?

SW-User
No I personally think it’s disrespectful if the people in the photos didn’t consent to them being displayed everywhere for everyone and visitors to see half of my childhood is on my parents walls and I hate it because it’s embarrassing and everyone I Even everyone who visits sees them especially my school photos my dad doesn’t let me take any photos of him , my mum is different she doesn’t mind either way I get told if I can put them or Display them anywhere. If they say they don’t want me to do that then I respect that. I find it odd in away like you know what your family looks like why have their faces all over the walls steering at you 24/7 ? I can understand if you don’t see them very often or they passed away but if you see them regularly or daily then it’s just weird.

It depends on the culture you live in and the religion that you practice.

@Pfuzylogic I'm curious, how it is related to religion?

@AnointedOne
I am curious also!
Why do you ask my religion?

I don't have any. I don't like to be reminded of my miserable childhood.
