I Had Some Bad Experiences In Friendships And Dating Relations

What should I do? I’ve been with this guy for almost 3 years we broke up after I found him with another girl in our bed in our house I feel hurt and betrayed and I don’t know what to do? To some people 3 years get over yourself but I can’t I’ve known this guy for 8 years we are best friends for that long and got together he knew me inside and out and I knew him inside and out I feel very upset :(

I think one of the most upsetting factors in a situation like this is realizing you didn’t know him inside and out - I mean, would you have predicted he would have another woman in your bed?

Cheating is bad enough - but to cheat in a way that makes it possible for you to catch him in the act is such a careless, casual way to treat you. His selfish impulses were more important to him than your broken heart.

Sometimes I think we kid ourselves into staying because we’ve invested so much time and emotion, the idea of starting over is just exhausting.
