I Am Not Voting

@black4white but the right to vote has not real influence. I have every right to complain about how the 2 party system is trash and how your votes don’t matter. It’s the truth. Why waste my time with something that makes no difference?

@black4white I’m not voting in the 2 party system. Once a third party actually gets paid attention to, maybe I’ll conisder voting. New Jersey is a blue state. I will not vote for a Democrat or Republican under any circumstance.

@TonyPajamas And how exactly do you think a third party will have attention paid to it if no-one votes for them?
It may not make change happen instantly but some things have to be worked for.

@TonyPajamas I don’t vote for a party I vote for who I will think do the best job ...I have voted for both sides ...and if I don’t like my options then I try to pick the one I most agree with and sometimes you have to pick the lesser of 2 evils ... you are young and this is life

@black4white I think picking the lesser of two evils is worse than not voting at all. You’re feeding into an oppressive system and you’re worse than me for doing that.

@black4white i did make a decision, I decided to not lie to myself that my vote actually matters. The government doesn’t care who you vote for, they’re going to put whoever they want in office anyway. They just want you to believe that your opinions matter so you can stay complacent in their system. It’s like when you let your kids choose their own clothing. You already decided what they get to wear because you purchased it but they get the illusion of choice because they decided their outfit for the day. It’s all a lie, you’re not making a single change by voting. The government is going to do what they want anyway.
