I Am Not Voting

I honestly think voting is pointless in most states. Let’s be honest here, you’re vote only has real influence in swing states and if you fall within the 2 party system. Otherwise, it’s just a waste of time. But you know, that’s just my opinion.

@bluesmanmark yeah the midterm got me thinking about all that, so I get it. But I thought the mention of electoral votes and swing states made what I was talking about obvious.

@TonyPajamas Again though, even at that, the electoral college has no bearing on any other elections, all the way from local to national, so voting for the people who are going to represent you isn't pointless. Your comments on this have been rendered incorrect & moot.

@bluesmanmark nah I think the government is going to do what they want despite votes. They only give you the illusion of choice. My point is that it’s all a sham. Voting isn’t real, just something they let you believe you have power over so you stay complacent.

Not voting is the real complacency, as by doing that you're saying that no matter how their actions affect you, it's not worth the effort to try to change things. You're like a sheep being lead to slaughter, & agreeing they have the right to slaughter you.
