I Love the Sound of His Voice
The plan is, time for the first phone call. It's Sunday 4 pm and the time has come. I don't normally call someone.
I said I was nervous but I recognize I was excited. I dailed *67 and his number. Anxiously I wait. Finally the hello comes. I shyly say hi.
He immediately starts talking and puts me at ease. Finally I say, "I love your voice." He's taken by surprise and says, " no, it's rough". I don't think so.
I love hearing his voice. Some days I miss it if it's been too long, but he's so good to call me or I him.
3 years later and his voice still effects me.
A voice is so important to me. That's the voice that could speak to me in the middle of the night ..
