Okay so my mother's father's family after my 4th great grandparents is a complete mystery to me and I'm not sure that the information on them is accurate as it seems to in places contradict itself. It took years to untangle them as much as I have. Today I'm hoping to find a missing link in the puzzle to at least finally verify them. I know it is partially the changed spelling in the surname but I am thinking it must have happened more than once and there has to be a big piece I'm just overlooking for years now. Bless those families who actually has family history written down just in case you know a future generation cares. 😂
