Heard it again today

As I was walking to my car to go to lunch I passed one of the guys I work with.

He said, "smile it aint that bad!"

My only response from birth until forever is a faked half smile grimace, and an epic eyeroll as soon as you pass me.

bruh this is just my stationary face, ok, factory settings. What do you want it to do?

But the most important question is....do guys ever say this to other guys? Or just women?

On behalf of myself. Please stop.

Sincerely,
Resting b*tch face, who doesnt want to smile for you. If I wanted to smile, id smile.

It has mostly been males who've commented on my smiling...or not, also. It is the "it ain't that bad" part of it, that has always bugged me the most.

I have often wanted to ask...say, how the hell they dared to presume to such a thing, when they couldn't possibly know.
