I ran 27 miles this week, walked five. Really struggling lately, a lotta combined body and mind fatigue. 32 cardio miles in the bank as it seems Summer and me are both dying a slow death.....
@ravenwind43 IMHO that is kind of a myth about the knees, it only does that to people who run too often and are carrying to many extra pounds. Jogging in place is cutting your workout way down because your not propelling your body weight forward like you would outdoors.
Hey :) whatever floats your boat, walking is indeed a great exercise, but it just will take you over an hour to burn as many calories as you would with a brisk run in fifteen minutes, just saying.
I know you could run if you try, the first quarter mile is the mental block people need to conquer. It is all down hill after that :) But we will having you running up hills in no time I am sure :P :) :)
