It's been about a month with the new hospice. It's going much better. The aide dad has now is a guy, and he's wonderful. I like him very much. The nurse is warm and caring. Matter of fact so far I like the hospice very much. The down side, course there has to be, I can have only one hour a month for respite. That means I can have a sitter for one hour a month for me to take care of all my business and go grocery shopping. I honestly don't know how other people manage or have managed being a caretaker. I'm a introvert I don't have bunches of friends or belong to a church. Somehow though I get by. Dad is doing great. His pain level has gotten higher but still on just hydrocodone. My granddaughter came to visit and got him to smile. He loves her so much.
