I Wish I Were Beautiful
It must be nice. Whenever my cousin feels lonely she just posts pictures of herself in her underwear and she immediately has at least a hundred guys lining up to boost her ego. I know another woman who says she needs to get dressed up and go out so guys can buy her drinks and boost her ego.
When you're ugly, you're all alone. No one is going to boost your ego.
No one is even going to bother to pretend to care.
Because ugly women are automatically worthless. And there is nothing that I can ever do to make myself good enough for anyone to even pretend. There is always someone better.
I understand that what my cousin gets isn't lasting. She picks some and insults some and in a week or two she is posting more pictures in her underwear. But, even if only for a few minutes, she can pretend someone gives a damn, and that's more than I can ever hope to achieve.
