No, because I never lost my smile, just the feelings behind it would change.
There were times when I would have ended it all, because I thought I'd never get the feelings to go back to the way I enjoyed them.
Then there were times I accepted the feelings, even though I didn't want them.
Then I decided to put in the work of monitoring them, noting when and where they came. Trying to find the innerworkings, dissecting them.
Now I accept them, and they don't change the core anymore. They float around, but I don't obsess on a void. I simply let the clouds pass me by, the best I can. I try not to obsess on them.
