How do you cancel an order on amazon?

If it’s coming from an independent seller and not from Amazon distribution you might have to wait until it’s received and send it back. The option to cancel if available is usually right there in the order status.

I think if you dont want it you have to wait til you get it.. then send it back

The item I ordered today can still be canceled, and the item I ordered yesterday has the option taken away, and says it has been shipped.

When did you place the order? There’s no need to wait until it actually gets delivered, with Amazon you have the option to give them a call once the order has dispatched - & they can recall it, hence it will never arrive at your home

for mine, I see a list of orders, any open ones have a yellow 'track shipment' button, and about 3 down a grey 'request cancellation' button.

I think you will have to reach out to the seller and they cancel it. I'm not exactly sure as I've never had to cancel an order there.

If you dig into the specific order details, there's an option to cancel.

Just go online and cancel it you can do it from the phone app or from a computer it's easy to do

If you send it back just because you decided you didn't want it they may charge you shipping
