That would be nice... They just don't live long enough 😥
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@DeWayfarer so Koreans would live longer. How's that bad?
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@basilfawlty89 And create other kinds of mass extinction? Quite a combination there. What can be use for good always can be use for bad. Question is are we as a world "dominating" race ready to deal with the consequences? I'm not certain that we are. ;(
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@DeWayfarer how will that lead to mass extinction? That has nothing to do with our lifespan, but to do with greed and irresponsible behaviour by corporations and governments. We can regreen the planet easily with modern technology.

CountScrofula · 41-45, M
Amazing. I am committed to my dogs' immortality.
MethDozer · M
@basilfawlty89 I do, in small doses. Dislike is a strong word. Distrust and skepticism of them is more fitting.

This is how me an Kali formed an uneasy alliance. She says kill all men. I day why stop there, kill all humans. At this stage of our end goals are so far off they are pretty much aligned. We further each other's mission right now even though they aren't completely inline.

So far my main tactic is called the " dare to be stupid " offensive. It basically involves me acting in such ways that it scares people from reproducing. That is until I finish my enviro-toxin mass sterilization technology.. I was making great progress but eh XO and ZW sex expression genes, even made gay frogs. Yet hit a major hurdle applying my methods to XY expression. Never even bothered Z-0 or haplodiploidy systems.
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@MethDozer if you wanted to scare people from reproducing, show them SW.

@basilfawlty89 Fucking-A
Magenta · F
*smh* They just can't leave nature alone can they.
Magenta · F
@basilfawlty89 Of course, that goes without saying. But it is only prolonging the inevitable.
Magenta · F
@Magenta And modern medicine is doing exactly that, imo.
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@Magenta yes, but what's wrong with prolonging it though? I mean should we instead die in our 20s like in caveman times?
Axelerator · 26-30, M
Now we just need it for humans as well :)
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@Axelerator eh we'll likely start terraforming planets in a few generations whether or not we do it. We'll be fine, assuming climate change doesn't destroy us first.
Axelerator · 26-30, M
@basilfawlty89 That would be cool and i hope that's the case, although things like teraforming and FTL travel are at this point abstract. I feel either scientists make the breakthrough sometime soon, or they end up spending 500 years doing it, would be most interesting to see all these things though :)
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@Axelerator indeed, and I'd love to be alive when it happens.
MethDozer · M
Just the solution to overpopulation and resource depletion.
MethDozer · M
@basilfawlty89 Clean air, clean water, space, and resources to sustain oneself? The ability do what you want and be left alone? To live naturally?
😉 I an ribbing you now.

, I know not everyone likes the simple life. Did you happen to grow up in the sticks? I grew up in the city and saw too much of it. I like being around people, just not thousands and thousands of nameless strangers who don't give a shit about me nor me them. Too many people to form a real community relationship with. People don't relate to that large a group and I seen how the urban city environment isolates people more. It encourages neighbors who don't know each other and don't have any reason to work together. Smaller groups are stronger and cohesive. IDK, cities are nothing but selfishness, consumerism, and fleeting hedonism
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@MethDozer I grew up in the sticks yeah, sugar cane land lol. I hate rural living. I feel alive in the city.
MethDozer · M
@basilfawlty89 Makes sense. Vastly different landscapes we come from too. The sugar cane land description doesn't give me any warm fuzzies. Sounds like our Midwest but that is corn as far as the eye can see. Nebraska style rural would drive me insane.

The worst of you ask me? The suburbs. North American suburbs anway. Man are they crushing.
