There are several Religious Books , each claimning to be the Absolute Truth. 'Bibles' The ' Torah' ' Koran' etc ETC!!!

My point is Sprituality isnt about the content in any of these books.

Because physically or even Metaphorically speaking if one is Deaf, Dumb, Dyslexic, Blind . How can any of these books teach?

The answer is they cant ..because they have no value to disadvantaged.

Sprituality isnt about what is taught in books.

It is about Consciousness

Ones personal development & growth of the same. Its human understanding and the individuals level of Counscience.

Which determines where they are on their spritual journey in this life.
The instructions on how we should live are intrinsic to our mind & soul.

We dont need to able to read a Religious Book to determine how we should act or react throughout our lifes journey to become our best self.

Yes we can learn from others living example, group together and share our knowledge.

But living by stories untested & unproven, is too wide of the mark for me.

I'm not saying that stories arent valuable, or inspirational.

Stories are all of these things .

But tapping into the essence of ones own soul.. and learning to live our day to day lives by good conscience.

Is as close to finding our 'truth ' than we ever will by any other means in this lifetime.

I go by the adage "If’s it’s not science, it’s superstition. My beliefs need to be based on evidence. The weirder means the evidence needs to be stronger.

@BlueSkyKing 🙂 oh yes most certainly "Science" has its place of course it does. But then also consider this its a 'scientific fact' that the 'Unknown ' has its place also.

There are still questions as old as the mountains for which Sciencists to have no explanation..they are aware of phenomena yet can provide no scientific explanation.

Random example - there are a multitude of accounts where people have been close to death on an operating table . Or at the site of a RTA.

When recovered they are able to describe scenes & personal conversations of others who were elswhere in the hospital or site of the accident.

Medical professionals confirm that their bodies remain insitu & the patient was unresponsive.

Yet cannot explain how the paient were able to observe the details.

Science has never provided an explanation for ' the out of physical body experience '

Yet it is a shared global experience which happens every day & as done for eons. This example represents just a tiny fragment of phenomena.
@Kae20 Science is a limited method that uses models to explain how nature works. It’s not a position. Far from flawless, it’s just the best we have.

Do you know what the scientific method is? These are the the basics.

Step 1-Question. The "thing" that you want to know. The question you want to answer.
Step 2-Research. Conduct research. Information about the problem.
Step 3-Hypothesis.
Step 4-Experiment. Test the hypothesis.
Step 5-Observations.
Step 6-Results/Conclusion.
Step 7-Communicate. Present/share your results. Replicate.

Has any of your examples gone through these procedures? If so, there should be published results that can be cited.

@BlueSkyKing Thank you 😊

I am familiar with the process applied to Scientific method.

This is an example of the scientific study of an OBE (out of body experience)

https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fnhum.2014.00070/full

It is one example of the 'many' scientific studies which each conclude a change in brain function during the OBE.

But this is not the point of my argument - which is Science acknowledges such Phenomena exists yet as been unable to date to actually quantify the individuals experience in Its entirety.

In a nutshell science is aware of the Unknown and can 'quantify' some aspect's as in this individual study shows .

But Can offer No FULL Explanation for the existence of such and other related Occurrences.
It is exactly has you say -
Science is a limited method
I agree
@Kae20 Thanks for the article on one unique woman. Obviously there are no large scale controlled replications.
