I Am A Daddy

Lucas threw up this morning, poor little guy had a really awful tummy ache last night and was crying a lot. After he was finished, I gave him a hug and he didn't want me to let go. He just wanted me to hold him again, his therapist says it makes him feel safe and he likes the physical contact as it reassures him im there. He just fell asleep in my arms. I'm going to have to find a new job. I can't work 12 hours a day and leave Lucas all that time again. Plus it's just too much for me. I'm not worried, but I need more flexible hours for my son right now. I'll let you guys know when I found a new job and where.

Well talk to your boss maybe you do not have to find a new job. And where if your wife or gf?

Yeah hopefully, he's pretty cool, he have a pretty close relationship. My gf/wife is dead. Yeah ran off with another guy then committed suicide about a week after giving birth to Luke. We were both 16 at the time so it was pretty rough for both of us but I guess she just really wasn't ready to be a mom yet. She left a suicide note dedicated to Lucas.

Wow that's terrible and why does your son see a therapist is he not a toddler?

@updown2020: he's 16, anyone can see a therapist, I guess now a days it's called counseling but he needs it, he's had a rough childhood I just want him to be happy.
