I Am Accident Prone

I'm accident prone. Always have been, and so it's just funny now. If it can be tripped over, ran into or bump myself, I can do that very well, LOL! But I have special skills, I can trip over nothing at all! That takes talent!

After the surgery that left a six inch scar onu left knee, I was heading into WallyWorld to get my script filled. I thought I was doing very well on crutches, considering I hadn't used them in a while. I made it through the first set of doors, and then as I was swinging myself forward, I lost my balance and without thinking, put my right foot down to try to catch my balance. The only problem with that was that my leg had been given a nerve block before the procedure began. So down I went! I started laughing at myself for tripping! These older women tried telling my I fainted, which made me laugh harder. I maneged to say, "I (heheh) tripped (hahahah), and fell! (Hahahahah!!)"

My friend who'd picked me up at the hospital asked me what I wanted to do. I said "Get me an electric basket and let's get the **** outta here." She asked me if I was hurt, and I laughed out "The only thing that's hurt here is my pride! Let's go!"

Great story Peanuts: I must admit I can relate to this. I bang my elbows when I walk through my doorways at home. You would think by now I would know how to navigate through them without bruising my elbows and my pride?
I also bang my head on numerous open cupboards and fridge shelves and other dangerous locations around my home. As an architect you would think I would have some sense of spacial reality? Hey, maybe I need to wear my hard hat at home?!馃懛
