Why do users have to have a public meltdown before they leave this site?

Just deactivate. It's not that hard. Not sure why people feel the need to "go out with a bang".
There are no doors to slam.

Attention. First they say what everybody is doing wrong and then how they have been hurt and can’t stand it like it’s gonna change somebody. It’s cyberworld. It all means nothing.
@uncalled4 it’s always been pretty important for me. I’ve never had a one night stand, ever. I don’t really separate sex and love very well. It is what it is. I just don’t want to get hurt but I’m pretty scared to start that conversation. 🦋

@DarkHeaven If it didn't mean anything, you wouldn't be scared.
@uncalled4 Facts. ✌️
SweetMae · 70-79, F
They are hoping some one will ask them to stay.
SweetMae · 70-79, F
@JesseInTX Thank you Jesse 🤗

@DarkHeaven 🤗💕

To see if anyone asks them to stay. They want to see the feedback from others who care if they leave.
I used to ask them to stay until I realised it could be an attention seeking thing.
@Dusty101 🖤

I did that once🙈 Thank God I've done a complete 360 in life......
@SW-User You’re not lame. Go figure... you’re just human. 🖤🤗
SW-User
@DarkHeaven I was then, but you're indeed right; just human. I was gone all of 25 & 3/4 of an hour too, which made it more dramatic.😅

Thanks butterfly♥️
@SW-User Always. 🖤🤗
SW-User
Bang bang bang! They want to be heard.
@SW-User Everybody wants to be heard, though. That’s just human nature.
SW-User
@DarkHeaven I know. I do it sometimes too. 🤭
@SW-User I get it. 🖤🤗

Just taking out their trash before their departures, I reckon.
SW-User
Well I had to let people know I'm taking a break when I took breaks 😭

When I take breaks now I just leave 🤷🏿‍♀️ but when I leave I have to be dramatic cause why not
SW-User
Maybe they want someone to care or to maintain some friendships outside of here?
I just delete and only communicate it to anyone I really care about.
SW-User
Just to be clear, I'm not calling any post about leaving a "public meltdown". People post about leaving hoping others will ask them to stay, sure, that's fair. I probably wouldn't do it, but I get it. No, I'm talking about making an angry, ranting, offensive post to try and get banned or whatever. This is going beyond simply wanting people to tell you to stay.
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
@SW-User You mean like a self-sabotage, the SW equivalent of "suicide by cop"....
SW-User
@uncalled4 Yep.
Because I’m cray cray, duh. Same reason I came to begin with. lol

MarkPaul · 26-30, M
They want the attention... but don't want to admit it.
rottenrobi · 56-60, F
I think this place can really get under a person's skin, if they let it. It can stir up a lot of strong emotions that need to be expressed. I always think, let them say what they need to, and we'll see them again later. People seem to have more fun, and take it less serious, when they come back.
SW-User
Depends on what they want
SW-User
@DarkHeaven I usually just delete and create a new one.

The only time I left dramatically was when I got banned hahaha

@SW-User 🤯

@MarkPaul hahaha

Lots of drama, people like it.
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
In a word? Narcissism.
Welcome to modern social sensibilities.

... I need a drink.
PhilDeep · 51-55, M
Some people seem to have a thing for drama?!
Attention seeking 🤷‍♂️
Zonuss · 41-45, M
