Nah. Let people discuss as they see fit. Just disengage when things go too far. Stop trying so hard to be right or sway people to your side. It doesn't really matter. Just have your discussion and move on with your life.

I would [i]love[/i] to be able to filter those posts out (and for the most part I do), but I think banning political posts completely goes against the spirit of the site.
