@sogdianrock I also live in a wood and don't find social networking to be fake in terms of personal experience, but observe the outcomes of interactions had over social media can be illusory. Are they really as important as they seem? Perhaps, but we all walk away from the computer/tablet/phone/whatever eventually. When we do, the world is still there, unchanged despite our experience, yet ever-awaiting our return. Be well. :)

Sure vital as in life affirming. All is RL! Social Networking can provide greater intimacy! Sure is a different medium but nt qualitatively different imho.
