I Believe In Being Kind

I think the reason why people don't believe in being kind anymore is because it makes them feel vunerable. Some view it as weakness, which is understandable considering some will try to take advantage of you. It takes courage to show your heart to people, but it is so worth it in the end. The world would be a better place if we could overcome our insecurities and love fearlessly. But thank you for sharing this. Hope you are doing well :)

Same. People dont know how to take compliments. Its like peoplee today expect others to be rude to them. Only old people can "get away" with being courteous, especially with other older people.

We have lost a lot of what used to be common courtesy. I hold the door for ladies always and about a third of the time don't even get a thank you.

I try to be nice just like you although I don't think it's ever been mistaken for flirting

I think self respect promotes a kindness towards others ! Other then that some people just suck !
