I Want to Learn to Speak Another Language

I want to learn german because I like all the long words and that they have words that describe really specific things like

verschlimmbessern

my family always tell me to learn french or spanish though. they say it will be better.

@Friend It means the captain of a company that runs steamships on the river Danube. Prime example for long words in German. :-)
