I Want To Let You Know

. . . that I absolutely hate it when I make spelling/grammatical errors. After re-reading some of my posts, I have noticed more than a few typos. I simply can't see the tiny print on here, and am unable to make it larger. I am not an uneducated idiot; just a semi-blind one.

Hello.
We have just made some adjustments.
The Font-Size should now be a bit larger for smaller devices.

The fixed header should also now be more stable, especially between switching screen orientation.

Please refresh your page and let me know if the font is now more acceptable to you.

It's true that we recently removed the zoom/scaling ability, that's because it was causing some other layout issues, making other things break in the recent layout upgrades.

We will be listening to your feedback and keep working to reach to a solution that works best for all.

Thank you.

Hello, you should be able to zoom-in to your screen once again.
Please let me know if it works for you.

Also, please let me know if you notice anything buggy, like the header being pushed out of screen at normal (100%) zoom.

(When you zoom in, yes, naturally the header will go out of view)

Thanks very much for confirming! :)
I'm glad that you are pleased now.
Kind regards!

Hi @CereBellum,
When you say "no difference", are you referring to no noticeable change in general font size to you?
Or are you referring to the lack of zoom-in ability?
Grrr my phone is larger than my old phones and it makes the swipe keyboard work different. It likes to throw random letters in places where they don't belong. Drives me freaking crazy

If you were English I would say, "you better get to Specsavers!" (Typing with iPhone held out at arms length with head tilted back, squinting!).
OMG. Thank you very much. Yes, the zoom absolutely works now. 😀

If you use a PC/Mac, most web browsers (Safari, Opera, Chrome, Firefox, etc.) have a zoom feature that can magnify the pages. Some also allow you to specify a minimum point size for the text on the pages. Explore the Preferences/Settings for the details.

On a mobile device, the options may be more limited, but the OS (Android, iOS, Windows) may have a feature that sets a minimum point size for displayed text if the web browser doesn't.

For any system, you might check the Accessibility settings for related settings on minimum text point size.
I am using a Google Chrome add-in named Grammarly. Highly recommended to find typos and make suggestions for corrections on sentence structure.
I always try to make no spelling errors or typos. Many times I consciously use incorrect grammar just because correct grammar sounds weird, and people think I am weird when I use it. But you know, I don't think other people really care, so long as they're able to read what you're saying. Much of the time, I don't think they even care what someone else is saying. I wouldn't worry about it.

Thats it gone bigger. How good is Admin. Fantastic boys!
Maggimay · 46-50, F
Its much bigger CereBellum.. I can clearly see my mistakes lol
Ironicman · 56-60, M
Maggimay, my screen no longer stretches so I'm having a few issues on the iPhone (it's my age, common problem with small text close up). With the editing, mine works ok. I just had to change titled to tilted in the post I made above or below, depending on the way you sort you posts !
Maggimay · 46-50, F
It was possible to make the screen bigger yesterday. I noticed today you can't. When it comes to edit, its one long sentence and once I have edited it, I can't find the post button. I just leave mine with mistakes. Less hassle.

@redrooster. *points* go to your room. Adults are talking now
@Geek: Guess what? About an hour after I posted that statement, an individual working for this site had it corrected. I was extremely impressed. Now I no longer have any reason for making mistakes. 👍🏽
@redrooster: You're response: "Even I know to spell it's just shortcut", contains a few errors.. Do not try and verbally spar when you are unarmed. 😀

Me too, but there is editing here, i use it 80% of the time, cuz my fingers are stupider than my jam sandwich up there;)

I'm not uneducated but I don't mind a few spelling/grammatical errors it makes me more down to earth and the site more enjoyable.
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
There is a difference between spelling and grammar and typing. I chalk it up to being a mediocre typist.
Okay, maybe the font size is a tad bit larger, or maybe just wishful thinking.
Fungirlmmm · 51-55, F
Me too, and I go to edit and that is even smaller. And it is even worse on the phone
1961dave · 61-69, M
Me too, it doesn't matter if somehow I did it, or it was autocorrect. It drives me crazy!
Maggimay · 46-50, F
Hmm i might try to rotate my screen at the next edit. Thanks Ironicman
Spaceforrent · 100+, F
I do this a lot too and it bugs me like crazy also.
At least I know how to spell "you" and "are"!
