@DearAmbellina2113 Fair enough, you are tall for a girl but then again that same height is the average for men in most cases, so I'm surprised you've had quite a few of those shorter than you, pretty sure many girls wouldn't do what you did.

@DrSunnyTheSkeptic I don't really care about height. If I connect with someone, the physical doesn't matter too much. But it's nice not feeling bigger than the man I'm with. I guess I've absorbed the brainwashing that tells us that being shorter than your man is ideal.

@DearAmbellina2113 There could be some old instinctual reasons for that. Bigger man, makes you feel protected and such, notions that are instilled in the human genome. I remember once asking my ex if she'd be with me if I were shorter than her (she was around your height 175cm and I'm around 180cm) she didn't say anything which really surprised me. Since then I've been a bit on edge when it comes to that, knowing that if I were 15 cm shorter I'd be a lot worse off.
I'm 5'2" and my guy friend back home is 6"4" lol
