I Just Wanted To Share The Little Things In Life

@NCCindy Exactly. I feel the same way. Kids nowadays are deprived from a lot of joy to be free to play and run with their friends.

@Madeleine I think the most important thing is it caused me to love getting exercise and being fit ... something that serves me well to this very day. I start most days with a 3 mile run.

@Madeleine I used to spend all day outside when I was a kid. Summer or winter, it didn't matter. I can barely get my son to go outside at all.

@NCCindy I was homeless as a child so I hated being outside because I had nowhere else to go. But at least my skin got darker and I now don't get sunburned easily. So that's a plus.

@Madeleine Something I never experienced as a child but finally did as a young teenager is ice cream. And still to this day I can never stop being amazed by ice cream. Good fucking lord is that stuff addicting.

@Madeleine Too much screen time is a problem, but I think it's more than that. People don't like for their kids to be unsupervised, so they never develop that sense of abandon that we used to enjoy. Some kids are too wild, and parents don't like their kids to be like that. And adults have gotten so busy they don't have as much time to just be with their kids.

@Sourdad I believe that people have lost faith in each other. In the past, neighbors would take care of each other's kids. I remember how we used to go to our neighbors' homes without even taking permission from our parents, but nowadays, neighbors don't even know each other that well.. at least, this is how it is where I live.

Someone clearly has posted a review pretending to be me, using an outdated profile photo I haven't had up since December of last year, with a misspelled attempt at my username. With all the people who have made fake accounts of me here on SW, and back on EP too, why would this surprise you?

@RemovedUser586585 I made a joke about selling drugs over the internet but my sarcasm was too well done and everyone thought I was serious. Someone reported me and SW put "suspected of illegal activities" on my profile because an admin thought I was serious about distributing cocaine.

I'm [i]still[/i] waiting for the day someone can discover a fraudulent photograph I've used.
