I Like Humor

I enjoy humor because it's a good stress reliever. I personally am not humorous - I may fire off a good line maybe twice a month - but I like watching good comedies and comedians.
Some notables:
1. I can't take very much of The Three Stooges. If I watch five minutes of them I consider that to be a long time.
2. I like Monty Python, Paula Poundstone, George Carlin, Tina Fey, Chelsea Handler, and Michael Jr., among others.
3. Although I don't watch a lot of television, a few shows I have liked were 'Seinfeld' and 'Cheers'.
4. As far as movies the list is long, ranging from 'sophisticated' to the 'high concept'. A few examples are "The Philadelphia Story", "Barbershop", "Manhattan", "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel", and "Animal House". These examples barely touch the surface though.

Like I said I personally am not a funny person.
But I do like humor.

@m&b - I remember one of the early episodes when Larry yelled at Wanda Sykes while she was walking "I'd know that ass anywhere!" and then she showed up at his house giving him grief about it: "and what's with you yelling out your car window with this 'hey assy; hi there big ass' - that's a very personal thing."
Of course I like Wanda Sykes; she's hilarious. That whole scene was a riot.

It's good you appreciate humor IA even though you may not be funny yourself. I loved Seinfeld & Cheers too. You may want to watch repeats of Curb Your Enthusiam because it's quite similar to Seinfeld. Larry David who stars in it was also one of the creative geniuses behind Seinfeld, so I'm sure it'll get you chuckling.

Yes. And she's real. She has a series on Netflix about various things in life like her search/non-search for love. It's hilarious but also real. Always has a revelation for her at the end.

IA, all those little scenes were hilarious. The more I watched it, the more I could see where all the Seinfeld humor came from...from Larry himself. Lol

How do you know you're not humorous..? I laugh at people all the time, who have no idea how damn funny they are ;)

I laugh at inappropriate times tho.. So maybe my sense of humor is a tad skewed.. 😐

Which in a way can be funny.. C'mon.. What's not funny about someone painfully unfunny?
I like to laugh at things too.. I like crazy funny shows :)

lalasway1: I've seen the reaction (or lack thereof) from many people over the years. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize I'm not a funny guy.
Thank you.

I don't celebrate holidays but if ever a date is set for Festivus I may participate.
