Why is it racist to ask people to have id to vote?
Not trying to cause a fuss or anything but I feel like I must be missing something as a lot of the reasons people are saying could be describing anyone's circumstances...

It’s not racist. You ask someone for ID in other circumstances, far less important such as purchasing alcohol or tobacco products does that make it racist?
