I’m getting sick of people telling me voting third party is a wasted vote

no, it wouldn't have been better if you didn't vote. it would have been exactly the same. you should always commute your vote to the remaining [b]viable[/b] candidate of your choice.

@SW-User I brought it up here to vent, but I don’t go around irl announcing who I voted for. And if you really believe that, then do you also believe people shouldn’t have the right to vote for whoever they choose to?

So you feel people should [b]only[/b] vote for the primaries... I hope you’re not one of those people who shame people when they don’t vote. If so, you have some principles that don’t add up.

@PerchingDove you mean sympathize. i can't empathize with someone who wastes their vote, because i don't know what that's like.

@SW-User Yes, they are. But these aren't just anyone, they're people I'm comfortable with asking.

If you don't mean to shame anyone, then stop saying it. You can't tell people to go vote and then tell them off for "wasting" their vote because they didn't vote primary. If they're putting their vote to who they feel is right then it's not a wasted vote.

@PerchingDove i haven't told anyone off. i've supported your right to waste your vote the whole way through this convo. it's my opinion you wasted your vote, but it's not your opinion, so side with yourself and be happy about it.

@SW-User You are by telling people they wasted their vote. I get that it's your opinion, but if you don't want to come off as shaming anyone then you it's one you should keep to yourself. That's just my advice, I hope you'll consider it but you'll do you.

@PerchingDove i sure can, and i did. you brought up the word shame in our thread here. i just gave my opinion on your voting for a 3rd party. in fact, you keep bringing it up. i really don't mind if you didn't vote for one of the primaries, or that you fall, in my opinion, under the umbrella of people who wasted their vote on the outcome. you are as American as apple pie, imo.
