I Am Facinated By Human Behavior
Earlier today we had an experience on this site when a post appeared announcing the death of a fellow user. The news was announced by her brother. He was going through his sister's phone and posting on social media the news when he came upon this site in her browser's history. It wasn't closed so he was able to alert us.
As expected when it comes to human behavior reaction ran the spectrum, from shock and expressions of grief to expressions of doubt and claims of attention seeking.
It brings up questions and scenarios we usually don't bother to ask ourselves. What would we do if we came upon a loved one's body? Do we immediately sift through the various websites to announce our discovery? Do we wait? How long?
What is our frame of mind when we go online to sites we may or may not have heard of much less visited? Do we explore the unknown when we see sites with names that incite curiosity?
Imagine you've come across the lifeless body of a sibling.
What is your reaction?
I would like to know.
Thank you.
