I Want Scotty To Beam Me Up

Fun fact: despite "Beam me up, Scotty" being a widely renowned catchphrase from the [i]Star Trek[/i] franchise, that exact phrase has never once been used by Captain Kirk or any other character in the shows or films. In [i]TOS,[/i] Kirk has said "Scotty, beam us up" on two occasions; "Beam us up, Scotty" on two other occasions in the animated series; and "Scotty, beam me up" in one of the films. He's used damn near every variation of the phrase except for that one, lol. Though William Shatner did say it in the audiobook for one his [i]Star Trek[/i] novels. However those are part of the "Shatnerverse" and are considered non-canon.
