I Got Others Caned At School On Purpose

@Sharon lol me too, didn't want to waste my time doing that, then next morning I wish I had done it as the teacher made my bottom tender to sit down for a while

@JoBlak My friends and I were frequently in trouble together. We all egged each other on so it was never really possible to say who the leader was - we were all lined up for the slipper or cane anyway.

@JoBlak I don't recall any of us being reluctant to get up to mischief. ;)

@JoBlak My attitude was that the greater the risk, the more fun it was. Getting away with something when you were very likely to be caught was more of an achievement than something you were very likely to get away with.

@JoBlak They just used an ordinary (dirty) white plimsoll, probably taken from the lost property box.

@JoBlak Our gym mistress always carried a plimsoll with her. If she had used the ones she wore, they would never have been on her feet. One of my maths teachers used the slipper a lot. He was also my 6th form maths teacher and was the reason my 6th form maths group re-introduced the slipper chart we kept in the first and second years.

@JoBlak We only kept it in first and second years because we stayed in our form groups for all lessons. After that, we wee in different groups for different subjects so it wasn't really practical. It was because our 6th form math teacher used the slipper just as much as in previous years that it became practical for my maths group to reintroduce it. Although the vast majority of 6th form slipperings were from the maths teacher, we also recorded slipperings and canings anyone in the group got from other teachers.

@nevergiveup Most of my punishments i deserved but not all.One Saturday hockey team playing away , school coach dropped us of in town, rather than school, 4 of us had about an hour to wait for bus homes. We went to an" olde world" type cafe down a side street, going to Wimpy bar in full uniform was asking to be picked on.We sat in a corner had our drinks and left. On the monday, the head master asked for the 4 girls that went to " the olde world" cafe to see him at break time.. We arrived and was sent into his study, he had taken his gown and jacket off and had the senior cane in his hand. I think his words were" i will toarate bad manners etc when in school uniform"" just pointed to one of us bend over the desk( i was 2nd)We had no idea what we had done and he was in no mood to even listen. Ho boy did he thrash us, a lot more than the normal 6, even regulation school navy knickers did not offer a lot of help.

Found out much later who complained,, not the cafe owner but a customer, an old girl and wife of a school govenor

@dorothyanne Some one set fire to the school fence. I was away at the time so it could not have been me but the head would not listen. When he finished i went home and not back to my class and told my mother. she took my hand and we went back to the heads room. I had to stand out side but i could hear her telling him what she thought of him lol. He had to say sorry.

If i had been punished at school for bad manners etc, Dads slipper would be waiting

@dorothyanne My dad never punished us that was mums job and she always did a good job on our bottoms.

If bottom was still marked and sore, would wait a day or so.He only punished me twice in anger. once back chatted a teacher, mum saw the damaged " more lines on your bottom than a railway station". She did not tell Dad

@dorothyanne My mother never spanked in anger but she did go over the top a lot and some was not spankings but more beatings

Our headmaster went over the top many many times. The first time dad punished me in anger , about christmas time, told parents one thing and done something else, late home etc etc , got a close up of lounge carpet, second time , home from uni, swore at Mum, did not see DAD Idoorway
