I Hate People

People are all the same. I grew up in The Philippines and there, people are narrow-minded, judgmental assholes that think they're better than you and if they act nice and friendly, it's only because they want something from you and will ditch once you outlive your usefulness to them. I come to the US and what do you know? It's the same damn thing! Everyone has a superiority complex or pretends to be kind only to leave once they tire of you. It took me a long time but I finally get it now: you simply cannot trust another human being. I never intend to again and it's been suiting me just fine so far.

@Renikari: It is not a fact. I am surrounded with many caring kind loving people. I volunteer at Habitat for Humanity, children's hospital, and as a mentor at work expecting nothing in return and know many others doing the same thing. Happiness is a choice, not something others give or owe us. I sincerely hope you find yours

@GJOFJ3: Well, you are right about one thing: happiness is a choice. You choose to believe all of that shit you just told me and be happy. Me, I prefer to face the reality of this world. And it's nothing to be happy about. I could pretend it's not real and ignore it, forcing myself to be happy like everyone else. But I find that to be a sad, meaningless existence. Oh wait, that's right: I'm the one living a miserable life because I don't go about lying to myself and embracing society's delusions. Isn't that right?

But seriously, like you even give a shit either way. You don't even know me so what do you care? You don't and if you're going to try and convince me that you do then you're lying to yourself.

I'd been there and to some countries. It depends on which crowd that has a certain norm.. just for example some community in PH belonged to below middle classes who aren't capable of traveling outside the country or stuck in a particular lifestyle will find you superior..try to understand the situation..same with other countries may it be 3rd-1st world country there are still things we aren't expose to and we find it strange..expect that reactions are different. It may help you grow if you try to adjust..
